Welcome to Pastors' Wives Connection!
My dear Friends and Partners in Ministry,
As pastors' wives, I know that if we could sit around a table and compare notes, we would find that the colors of our ministerial lives have much in common. You and I know that ministry has the tendency of bringing a variety of lessons to the pastoral family. We learn to deal with ministerial pressures, with applause, criticism, joy and failures. Sometimes there is laughter, other times, tears. Even then, I know you would agree with me, there is no better calling, no greater privilege than to be a chosen vessel, separated by God and for God (2 Corinthians 4:7).
My philosophy of Ministry to Pastors' Wives
I believe that I am not different than other women. I believe that as a Christian woman I am different from other woman. I believe that being the wife of a pastor doesn’t make me a different kind of Christian woman, but it does make my life more public and adds innumerable expectations and unique stresses that are often only understood by other pastors’ wives.
For these and other reasons, Pastors' Wives Connection has been created for you!
In a book I found the following phrase…The person that experiences loneliness spends life building walls instead of bridges.” – Anonymous.
Through Pastors' Wives Connection, you and I can change the message from that anonymous person by following the advice in Proverbs 11:12 that says: “…he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.” Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

Resources to assist in various aspects of your life.

Provide a safe place for discussing the frustrations and joys common to pastors' wives with other pastors' wives who will listen, encourage, and offer insight when appropriate.

Provide forums in which pastors' wives can voice their perspectives on a variety of subjects and issues.

Write stories or articles that pertain to Pastors' Wives and ministry. God will use them as inspiration for other Pastors' Wives.

Pastors' Wives Praying for Pastors' Wives around the Globe
There are many ways we can connect and encourage each other in the unique settings in which God has placed us, but one of the most impactful ways is to pray for each other. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to know that a Pastors' Wife is praying for you and that you can pray for another Pastors' Wife? Can you imagine what would happen in our personal lives and in the lives of our husbands? Prayers offered on behalf of pastors' wives can strengthen the ministry of each of us and build up the churches in which we serve.
