When I became a pastor's wife I was only 23 years old. I felt I was too young and inexperienced for this role. My husband would go to conferences and network with other pastors, but there wasn't anything like that for me, or at least, I didn’t know how and where to connect with other women in the same role. At first, I struggled to live up to an image, and for a while, I felt I had lost my identity, and many times felt very lonely. I praise God for His faithfulness to me, for being my best friend, teacher, guide, spiritual builder and for being there through every journey I have had as a pastor’s wife.
My 30 years of Pastoral experience led me to create Pastors’ Wives Connection so these often overlooked women could be inspired, motivated and encouraged. Anchored Love Ministries launched Pastors’ Wives Connection in 2007 with the purpose to bring Pastors’ Wives together to inspire, uplift, and nurture. I believe, this ministry is greatly needed and is getting the attention of pastors’ wives around our State.
