The needs of the world are greater today than at any time in history. The
resources to meet those needs are more critical than ever before. How can we at
Anchored Love show the love and care of Christ to persons in our communities and
around the world?
To ignore persons who hurt and go hungry never entered God’s mind. He planed to
meet the needs of families & individuals through the lives of His children He
has placed around the world. Jesus himself said: “For I was hungry and you
gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I
was a stranger and you invited me in, needed clothes and you clothed me, I was
sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me… When did
we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When
did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?”…He will reply, whatever
you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me” (Matthew
25:35-45).
The Lord does not expect us to meet the needs of everyone. He would not place us
under that kind of burden. However, here at Anchored Love, we are not passive in
this situation. God expects us to place our resources and abilities in His hands
for His use. He will bless them, multiply them, and add to them so that we will
have more than enough to meet the needs of people.
